| Triad I is a starter interrupt system using transponder technology to protect the dealer’s inventory from theft. The systems' antenna is located around the ignition lock cylinder and starts searching for a learned transponder code. The can choose a computerized ID card or key chain fob to access the inventory. The moment the key is turned to the start position. The system searches for a learned dealer coded transponder. The sales person presents the dealer inventory control device to the installed antenna and reads the Fob in less than 4/10ths of a second and allows the vehicle to start. If an attempt is made to start the vehicle without an inventory control transponder the starter shuts down and the module begins a warning chirp sequence.
